I can't believe I haven't uploaded this before now. Good grief. It's been finished since before Katsucon. >.>;;;;Anyway! Good Omens fanart, because there can never be enough. |D This was my half of an art trade with ~satalderihannsu - I got Crowley and Aziraphale plushies out of the deal, and they're wonderful, and NO YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM. My end of the trade was to do a steampunk version of Crowley and Aziraphale. They lend themselves very, very well to steampunk, I find. Crowley has a shiny black airship (notice the Bentley emblem on it?). *grin*
The conversation between the two probably goes something like this:
"If He had meant man to fly, he would have given him wings!"
*pause* "You have wings."
"That's beside the point. And I don't have them right now."
"Try to appreciate your charges' mastery of the air, angel."
"I appreciate it. I do not participate in it."
"You certainly participate in the French pastry portion."
*glower*
"Now, come aboard and have a drink. I promise you'll not fall."

Actually, the conversation piece you put in there sounds EXACTLY like those two. Aziraphale a bit more confident than normal, but still noticeably those two. And the artwork captures them as well.

I saw this across the Katsucon artist's alley in 2007 and thought 'That looks kinda like Aziraphale and Crowley, but nah...' Lo and behold, when I wandered over to flip through your display book that's exactly who it was!
This is still one of my favorite pieces of art on my wall because it makes me smile. I especially adore the little in-joke details like Aziraphale's tartan waistcoat and the pansy on his lapel. And, of course, the fact that Crowley pilots a black Bentley Airship. Because he totally would.
