Description
This is Aziraphale from the book 'Good Omens' by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Here is our angel and part-time rare book dealer, sat in his bookshop at his desk and drinking a cup of tea whilst having a good read. (Hmm ... does that book look familiar to anyone?) Although he is not in angelic form at the moment, the lamplight and arrangement of the books behind him give a clear indication of his true nature. This picture took me ages, especially drawing all those books and painting all the shadows.Related content

So. Freaking. Cool. (Possibly an annoying question, but... do you have a tumblr? I need to share this.)

Beautiful design! Just when I thought I couldn't love him more, here you come along showing him like this~
I think that I would buy as many of his books as I could afford no matter how hard he tried to keep me away from his collection

very nice detailing on the books in the background. I too know from experience what a pain it can be to draw a library full of books xD
I do wish there were more highlights on the back of Aziraphale's hair and more shading on the contours of his face...
Nevertheless, very nice picture~

HO, SNAP!
It took me a while to figure out the books. At first I thought,'Oh, ha ha, the lamp is like a halo! But why are all the books leaned toward him? That looks rather sill-OH CRAP, THAT'S AWESOME!'

Haha! It's a lot easier to see the wings in the thumbnail size, but i kinda like that it takes people a moment to realise Hehe
