Description
New Zealand Falcon - endangered as farmers shoot them thinking they are a danger to their sheep. Which they're not.Rehabilitation and education is going on now to try and save them.

You are welcome. I can't imagine anyone shooting them. Other than our harris hawks, most rapters hunt singly, not in packs, so a sheep would be way above their limit.

Even the harris hawks who do pack in groups of 3-5 only tackle rabbits most of the time. Ah, there's not accounting for tales about events that get blown out of proportion. I'm glad you have a good education program to save them. They are exquisite.

Yes the education program hs been aired on tv. I'm about to move to an area where there is a good conservation program - I'm hoping I will be able to get involved myself
