I don't know her name. Taken at the San Francisco Zoo in August 2009.

well i volunteer there in the Koret Animal Resource Center which i will assume you saw behind her since I am assuming that is Bella since that is the only Peregrine Falcon we have. you have really taken a wonderful picture of Bella that seems to revitalize her (even though it isn't as if she's on death row or something, she's still doing fine).

She's the one with only one eye right? Thank you for your compliments of the photos. I've wanted to make another trip up there (I've been a member for years) but haven't had a free weekend. I also have been dying to photograph Sierra again - I've only done so once and it was quite some time ago. She is always in the free flight enclosure when I visit.

Bella has both eyes , but she had an eye surgery last year for a calcium deposit on one of them. i would love if you took a picture of Sierra as well as Athena and Archimedes.

Do you work on staff or as a volunteer? We've worked out several exchanges with other zoos if you're on staff and interested in tour swaps

would it be ok, if I try to paint your amazing picture? of course I will do a link to your original.
I love the fluffy feathers of the bird, and the way he looks.

High buildings are great for Peregrine Falcons, they can fall down on their preys very easily

Funny to think I was in one of the biggest cities in the country when I got this shot, huh? So peaceful feeling
