Description
Old painting of a friend holding up his baritone during marching season 05. The hardest part was the baritone- trying to make it look slivery and having it reflect the parking lot drove me insane. I got so frustrated at the time that I never finished it, so I just decided to put it up the way it is. This is an old painting I tried to do about a year ago, and still painting is one of the hardest things for me to do. Iām much more of a dry media person, but I would still like to try to get better at using paints.Acrylic paint on hand-made/stretched canvas, photographed

I love the baritone! That's such a hard thing to do. Amazing.

Thank you! It was difficult for me to paint a reflective instrument, but kind of fun at the same time.

I personally like the way this turned out, especially the reflection. The large area of blue for the sky is beautiful as well.

Still better than any painting I'd be able to do.
I really like the shine effect. That's something I've never even been able to pull off with pencils, much less paint.

WOW! The shine of the Baritone was the first thing that stood out, it's fantastic! That looks really complicated, but you really pulled it off!
