Hello everybody!
With "The Desolation of Smaug" released, I guess it was only a matter of time before I did more "The Hobbit" fanart. And Evangeline Lilly/Tauriel is such a beautiful elf, I didn't even have to think twice before deciding which character to do first.
There are so many things I want to say right now, but I am soooo tired/in a hurry to travel (Christmas holidays, yeah! 
May you all have a wonderful holiday! 
PS1: Did I mention I don't want to draw hair ever again?!

It should not be possible to draw such a thing with graphite pencils, but you did it. Congratulations on a truly impressive work of art.

This is beautiful Joanna This is funny, I've actually been working on this same picture for the past month or so, I wanted to get it done before the film released but that didn't happen. I agree with you, I wanted to do another Hobbit/ Lord of the Rings drawing and she was the first one that I thought of

Tauriel is sooo beautiful. After watching this movie with a friend, I talked about it at school and the guys in class thought I was hopeless saying "Tauriel is so pretty" again and again. o.O

The hair really does look like one of the most complex jobs you have done so far - catching the light as it does, appearing almost aflame! I especially love the satin-y soft look to the clothing
