About the drawingAidan Turner as Kili from The Hobbit, once again.
This composition was supposed to be my first The Hobbit fanart, but I didn't had too much time in February [bloody exams...] for such a detailed and big work, so I drew a small portrait of Kili instead. However, I didn't give up drawing a double portrait, I was too tempted to try my skills at rendering his outfit and the sword [I'd never drawn any weapon before!]. So now you know my excuse for portraying this Irishman as a dwarf again
Drawing his eyes of the smaller face was a real challenge, I fixed them a few times! As much as rendering the details of his clothes was pain in the ass, I'm glad how they turned out I'm generally happy with the final result, especially that at some point the paper started to misbehave. I resigned from drawing his quiver and arrows.

I decided to stop drawing Aidan for some time. I've drawn his face 6 times after all! It's - for sure - not the last portrait I did of him, but I've got many different plans for this year. I want to continue Game of Thrones project [obviously I won't draw all the characters xD but a few most important] and Dwarves in ink project [it means I must paint 5 more works] and I'd like to draw/paint some non fanart things in various styles and techniques. But plans are always just plans, they might change, especially in my case
