Well, I still have issues with graphite hair! Honestly. But I guess the whole point is to face our fears, right?

Fear? I don't believe your afraid of color I know what you mean though, I think we all hit a comfort zone and its good to test our skills through other mediums. Ive seen many graphite artists dabble in colored pencil and many fall in love with color after years of seeing greyscale. While i really like cp, i will always be a graphite guy.
Im really itching to apply what I've learned with color to painting with oil but I'm not quite ready yet.
I just went over your tutorial about stray hairs AGAIN. I am in love with that Rogue drawing of yours. Im going to try that tip of yours with the indentation of the paper. I use nothing but an eraser for the stray hair and at times they aren't clean enough for my liking. We never stop learning do we?

Hehe, I'm also a greyscale girl, but color has sth magical... My real-life-nothing-to-do-with-art friends are totally indifferent towards my graphite drawings, but when they saw this one, they were like "oh, my Goodness, how did you do that?!" It is weird but color seems to grab someone's attention.
Good luck! If I may, for me it works best with heavyweight cartridge paper, it doesn't seem to work too well with super smooth paper like Bristol. And yes, I guess we never stop learning!

Wow! That's amazing!
You really did a great job with her hair and the skintones. I think it's harder with color pencils than with graphite pencils...
I'm really looking forward seeing the next drawing with colors

Thank you Angelic! It is A LOT harder with color pencils. No comparison at all! (Not to mention that you can't blend, erase, etc)
Haha! Yes, I thought so!

I certainly am looking forward to seeing more of the coloured pencils works. Your graphite is masterful and for your first coloured pencil this is excellent! Great skin tones, they aren't easy to achieve but you did a great job! 👍👍👍
