"For 30 years, the floor of Tokyo Bay has been made almost desolate. Aquatic life rarely ventures through, as if they fear that part of the bay since the event that changed the world and the course of history. It has been stated that very same area is also the resting place of the man who saved humanity with a a frightening power which could destroy it, who's dying wish, was for a triangle of love that he was part of to be severed and resolved. And with his death, the secrets of that power went with him. After the event, search and retrieve missions issued from all sorts of defense agencies for what was left of the device were in vain, and it happened time and time again. It is as if the detonator chose his point to activate it carefully. The dawn of the 70's came, and all search efforts were called off.

1980 - Bizarre seismic activity is detected in Tokyo Bay. Parts of the ocean floor crack and create small openings, spewing a lot of sand and dust into the water. It is never Identified what the cause was. Some speculated that it was the birth of a new fault line, but this was quickly dismissed.

1984 - The Devil Monster uprising begins, ushering in the creation of Shin Godzilla when the demon Shin tried and failed to take complete control of Godzilla's corpse, which was preserved after the Kaiju culling of 1979 for obvious research reasons. During the next few months, Shin Godzilla, Akuma Rodan and on occasion Zone Mega with the background aid of Ensei, Kenshira and Hara uncover and fight demonic forces to get answers as to what is going on. For Shin Godzilla, this quest is personal in order to restore Godzilla's and Shin's memory before time runs out for them both.

1985 - Strange goings on in a small aquarium are reported. These instances include certain exhibits in which fish have either strange holes, or are completed reduced to bone. The Manager wants these incidents to be kept under wraps to keep business going, as the establishment is already declining from lack of interest. The salt water and some of the animals used in these exhibits originated from Tokyo Bay ...

1986 - In the same aquarium, a brand new Orca show is suddenly halted when one of the whales starts thrashing about wildly in pain. One by one, all the whales disintegrate and turn the water crimson as their oxygen in their blood depletes completely, as if devoured. The red morass overflows the tanks and spills out, making the audience flee in panic. The water continues to surge, just as it once did in 1954.
Some of this water drains into gutters that feed directly to a water treatment plant connected by sewers. There to the water behaves strangely. Then, a breaking news broadcast appears all over Japanese televisions reporting that an armed squad has been sent into that very same aquarium to eradicate a legion of giant mutated crustaceans that spawned from the Orca tank. The stand off rages for an entire day and well into the night. The building is transformed into a war zone. By morning, it is over ... at the aquarium. Suddenly, an explosion of startling magnitude goes off at the water treatment plant. Something in the water cased one of the filters to overload to critical and triggers a chain of events, leading to its destruction. In the wake of a explosion, a screeching UFO is seen launching from the fire and fly off into the sky.

At the moment, something stirs in the waters of Tokyo Bay. A huge displacement of water, comparable to the underwater explosions of Operation Hardtack (www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RvOnA… ), reaches into the heavens. As the water falls back down, something starts thrashing and smashing through the waves like a child playing in a swimming pool. A cry and the flash of organic blades respond to the sounds of the other."
