Made with Gimp & Paint.Originally, I had nothing to contribute to this years Godzilla Day. But inspiration struck when noticing a certain someone has his birthday coming up. Also The founder of G-Day recently blessed the Godzilla spiriting community with the sprite sheet of Mosugoji ( aka Godzilla 1964 ) And the Godzilla featured in Monster Of Monsters was loosely based off that suit. So from there everything fell into place an within the span of two hours produced this.
GIMP's coloration tools are spriters best friend in cases like this. Saves one having to spend hours coloring a sprite pixel by pixel. So with a click of a button and a few tweaks with hues and Gammar, recreating the NES Godzilla colour scheme was a breeze.
Mothra took a bit longer, but was much easier to do then first anticipated.
