Task 7: Fear

KILL ME.
I had this picture planned out long before the round even started.. yet, I didn't start until the task was announced. :') I thought I'd do this epic watercolor picture, but I couldn't risk doing it traditionally... x_x Digital art kicks my butt so much, but it's ability to fix mistakes is heaven-sent. And it's potential to create is great !

I didn't keep track of how much time it all took, but I spent 2 full nights of work on the stained glass windows...
... I'm going to give my hand a good rest now. X'D

Paranoid and filled with many fears, Kenji carries some major trust issues. He's been hurt a lot, and from the people he loved & trusted the most... This is part of why he's such a big jerk. He pushes people away, because he's afraid of letting them in.

Fear is probably his strongest driving force. It gets him to actually do things.

Thoughts of his mom. Being tied up. Dying.
Those are the big three.

There's also: being humiliated and laughed at, people hating him/wanting him dead, his kingdom going to war, facing his brother, being pitied, to be looked down upon by a peasant, his family's line ending, being seduced (esp. by a woman), weapons & fighting, nature [wild animals (esp. bears), insects, arachnids, amphibians, reptiles, algae/pond scum, roaring rivers, caves, gnarled & broken trees, animal calls (barks, howls, screeches, chirps, etc), poisonous plants, bad weather, dark nights in the woods, getting lost out there], and feeling powerless.

Cast of characters:
Ryou - His brother, his executioner.
Asahi - The Peasant Queen.
Leilani - His cousin, the only person who will mourn him...
Sin - ...besides this peasant guard, a fool who adores him.

In the angry mob, there are 5 other BH characters featured, one rando, and two from another story of mine ;3
