Would ya look at that!I actually uploaded a drawing!
It feels like ages since my last upload, but never fear - I'm still alive and well, just piled under college work
This is another little A6 drawing (so much quicker than any bigger stuff, and really all I have time for right now) this time of a bunny called Holly (as you might have guessed from the title
).Holly belongs to somebody I didn't know when I started the drawing (just after Christmas), and for a while I was enjoying the irony of drawing a random gift for somebody I didn't know. That all went out the window when I was introduced to that somebody (who is called Rosie, which rhymes nicely -sort of - with Holly.)
expect a few more pet portraits soon(ish) when I get my courseworks and stuff out the way.

I think this one was mostly done in HB, 2B and mostly B 0.5 mechanical pencil.
I've moved away from the softer pencils now - while they give an easier dark tone, they loose sharp details, and smudge easier.

Since this critter is named Holly, it is only natural the buddy should be named Ivy!

heheh. next animals I draw really should be dogs. I think I've got two friends with new dogs to draw. As for your characters (which I SERIOUSLY need to get round to...), I'm hoping to wait until I have time to research for some nice references. I'm such a perfectionist sometimes when it comes down to costumes and setting
