Description Happy Thursday, folks!

Well, it finally happened yesterday: the "Knaves: A Blackguards Anthology" is fully funded and with a few bucks to spare!

Sponsored by the fine folks at Outland Entertainment  and Curated by the amazing team of Melanie Meadors  and Alana Joli Foster Abbott , this collection features various fantasy and contemporary set stories where villains are heroes of their own tales, and heroes explore the gray area between good and evil. And of course, topping things off, is yours truly pen and ink illustrations accompanying these tales

While most of the pieces I've shown you have been understandably set in Medieval Fantasy (many of the stories take place in that genre), there's also sci-fi in this anthology and I was more than encouraged to bring about my strength in illustrating the future to the fore. So, to shake things up a bit after all that Dark Ages atmosphere, I thought I'd go full cyberpunk This piece has all the elements I'm so fond of drawing and it's funny how you find yourself reinvigorated into a genre when you don't tackle it as often. The overall theme of shady protagonists is in full effect here, though and one can only imagine what this gentleman has done with that weapon he's holding.

As usual, I hope you enjoy this image and be sure to swing by the KS before it ends to be able to snag one of these originals from me:

Knaves: A Blackguards Anthology

Thank you for the support as usual, my friends!

Nic.-

You seem to bring something new to see in your depictions: I can distinguish the background characters from the protagonists' coat, thanks to the tracing.

Thank you! I'm always trying to come up with ways of adding as much detail as possible without making a mess of the whole. So, I'm happy when I achieve it and you notice it

Hmm, I read it as if you come out with new ideas others have not tried before...
But that is me being silly.

I must admit to having a burning desire to be quotable - I haven't worked out how to be a writer yet, but one can at least attempt to be wit.

Excellent reminds me of the kind stuff Calber and First comics were doing in the early 90s
