Description
"One fine day with a Neigh, and a Whinny.
a foal was born, and It caused a little stirr.
No plaid Tiger, No eight legged fawn.
Unicorn, Earth Pony, lil' LyraBon.
LyraBon!, LYRABON!
Alone in the world is a little LyraBon!"
*****
I couldn't help myself.
When this short scene was shown in the Season Five Princess Luna episode
(which is OBVIOUSLY a subtle reference at "CatDog") I had to post SOMETHING of it.
May do a motivational later, but this animation was too good to keep.
I just bet this made the LyraxBon Bon shippers FLIP.

Certainly makes me wonder about ol' Macintosh.
First he keeps Twilight's old ragdoll to himself..NOW, It seems he dreams of being an Alicorn Prince-ss?
What'll they do NEXT with Big Mac: having him SING!?

Oh, crap, I forgot: He was SUPPOSE to sing in that one "Flutterguy" episode once.
(I can't believe I forgot about that.)

CatDog was the first thing that popped in my mind when I first saw this in that episode. That's one of the reasons I love this show, they're always sneaking in refrences like this.

Oh, very much. One of my recent favorites was taking a jab at some confusing Pony names
by using a variation of Abbott & Costello's "Whose On First!?" comedy act.
but, the most classic was Pinkie Pie channeling Bugs Bunny when she haggled with a fruit vender.

My favorite was the Batman: The Animated Series refrence in the Mare Do Well episode, I also liked the Star Wars refrence after The Mane 6 defeated Discord. (Notice how The ceremony held for them was a recreation of the ceremony at the end of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope?) Plus I noticed during Twilight and Tirek's fight there were refrences to the fights we see on Dragon Ball Z.
Plus every scene with Daring Do is chalk full of refrences to the Indiana Jones movies.

Yeah, do you remember the CatDog Toys that they sold then?
all things considered, it would've been EASY to reinvent the Slinky product with the concept.

Sadly, I do not recall those toys, but yeah they should have made them slinky style.

a toy I remember getting was a large CatDog plush toy,
whose middle part looked like the plastic spring coil from a Jack-in-the-Box.
I remember it fondly because shortly after I got my mom to buy it,
there was an episode of CatDog on where Cat and Dog "separated" by stretching themselves at an impossible length.

If I remember correctly, it was the Greasers and Eddy responsible for that little fiasco.

What I'm suprised about is that they dreamed about the exact same thing. I guess that's how deep their friendship/love goes

Yeeeah..Almost borderlines "creepy", whenever you think about it.

yeah it could be seen as creepy while it also could also be implied to be really sweet
as this could imply that they might talk to each other about what they dreamed last night

Eeeh-yeeeeah, THAT show isn't what I consider "credible."
Far too many tasteless jokes for my taste (pun FULLY intended.)
