This is my trusty old rhododendron right outside my entrance. I never remember to water it, but it refuses to give up.

Update October 2023: This image was taken maybe ten years ago or so. Recently the rhododendron finally gave up, but had during the last year or so before it died shared its tiny, almost barren little space with what looks like a rose that came out of nowhere and seemed to like it there. Now the rhododendron is completely gone, but the rose thrives. So I select to view it as the rhododendron died but was somehow reincarnated as a rose. It's not gone, it just evolved into something else. I'll do my best to take good care of it from now on. ❤️
