I'd always wanted to visualize the accident that Quake Woman got into. The comics detail it as a fissure that she got into that buried her and seriously damaged her, which is what caused Dr. Lalinde to remove her personality matrix and turn her into an emotionless zombie, and the idea of her being awake and fully conscious while getting pulled out of the rubble appeals to my DARK SENSE OF STORYTELLING. In Dracozombie's birthday fic to me, and the comics, she's unconscious. Which I mean I could do that, but then she wouldn't be reaching upwards.

I used one layer to shade and I used one color which was a deep slate blue and whites to get the lighting down. It worked out REAL well for this. I still can't color rocks but hey whatever. It's close to how I imagined it.

EDITS: I may go back and fix the lighting, because DA went and brightened everything up for me 'helpfully.'

Yeah going back and amping up the dark shading makes it much more clastrophobic so there we go.
