Ohhh my hand hurts. x_xSome days ago I found this awesome contest where you have to take an old picture from yourself and redraw it.
Since I wanted to redraw 'Mothers sorrow' for a longer time. I took this as a chance to do so. Also this was a kind of test for me if I'm able to finish a picture within a pretty short amount of time.
Started on Thursday, finished some seconds ago and I really hope that this picture will be accepted for the contest since the deadline is today.
Sending a direct comparison between both pictures in a second. ^^

The details are amazing, the lighting. A huge improvement over the original! All your dragons are great, but this has another meaning too--

comparing the two versions of this picture i can most definately say that this is a major improvement from the first version.
i really like all of the detail work that has been put into this peace and you can tell that a lot of effeort has been put into this piece of work to make it look like it is now remarkable effort and a great picture

not a problem
yeah i took part in a similar contest some time ago it reminded me how i sort of sgrasped simple anatomy and was able to form figure properly without them looking too out of place

this...this is captivating...
the detail, the lighting, it's all amazing.
and what stands out the most is anything in the immediate foreground is blurred slightly, both mingling in with the rain in a sense and also giving a better depth to the scene.
