Description
Part 4 of the 100 challenge, for the digital half.Sorry its bit on the dark side, buts its meant to be the interior of a cave and theres no light source, so heh. I was working on darkness/shadows anyway
I will put up the traditional halves of the challenge (for "light" and "dark") later, I find them a lot better then the digital ones
Its still damn old, over 1 1/2 years. But its not too bad

There is always a way, even if the path is covered with muck and grime, even when it's slippery and there is a precipice, even when the walls and ceiling close in, there is a way.
Sometimes it just takes a pick axe, a shovel and a good measure of C4 to get to it.
I'm no optimist, but I sure believe in the power of the self.

I think the lack of light source and general darkness of the pictures gives it a cold, lonely feeling... which works well. ^^ Great work!

Definitely a very moody piece. The dragon looks sad and pissed at the same time. Love the shade of blue. I can see a lot of improvement in your digital arting skills even from 1 1/2 years ago, I'm sure you're even better today.

the more you do them, believe it or not, they should become much easier, and hopefully will be faster to do

They have done, although It depends on the computer. The last one took 2 weeks, the one before took over 3, as my tablet broke =/

It depends also on the amount of detail I want in them. I spent 10 days on the current one just doing scales XD

I like the darkness effect - it being slightly exaggerated does add to the ... somber tone of the piece. Yes, somber - thats the word for this.
