- That Sanford and Deimos wallpaper set I promised to make within the year.
I destroyed both perspective, and Deimos' G36. Hope it's decent at least.

It's a wallpaper graphic. I'd either have to plan it all out as 16:10, and crop for smaller sizes, or alternatively make sure the graphic can fit into a 5:4 without cropping.
The way I like designing these things is including some "air" that's mostly just colors/non distracting objects to place your desktop icons on. It would be different if I could do something interesting with the landscape, but that's a little hard with madness. So the wallpaper ends up simplistic, with focus on the characters, which I try to make eye catching. Does my trait of thought make any sense at all? :I

First of: The size
No argument there, dA is pretty specific and strict about their size-fitting options
Next: Your idea of the desktop
Your style of desktop is pretty common: Focus on the main thing without distracting the main thing with the background, and adding more space and the empty-ness for the background is actually helping the eyes to concentrate on the main purpose of the desktop and for space, like you said, to lay icons on. So it WOULD be different if this was set on a different category
And drawing landscape for madness is pretty much a pain the ass.

Haha, really though. It can add a little bit of dynamic to the picture. Really helpful if it's a bit boring in the first place; madness dudes can be hard to pose in drawings with the whole lacking arms/legs thing.
