Description
This is my entry to 's Summer Solstice Contest. Information can be found here: [link]It's not much, but I wanted to do something summery anyways and this is what came out! Did some repainting on the dress and hair; Added some brighter color to the background.

The water was already there - I just added another layer of a picture of water and set it to soft light I think thus adding more texture to the surface of the water! Thanks for the comment!

This is better put together than your mermaid because it's much more natural. Also the pastel-type appearance of the woman helps the mood of the work. But adding just a little more texture to her wings would've further perfected your work. Still a very nice peice, it indeed succeeds in conveying the mood you were looking for.

the dragonflies there are fitting there I think, but I think they need some repainting, they look so brush-y now, the same for the butterflies, but I dont think they are very fitting there. I guess both are too big, dragonfliess less then butterflies(then or than??)
I dont think the arm looks so weird, but I think there is a hand missing on the knee. or did you erase that one? didnt get that part too well, ehe
