History: Bred and raised at Black Rose Stable, where he also received most of his basic training as a foal and a young horse. He was then purchased by Sterlingwood Equestrian in order to train more thoroughly as an eventer, and shows a lot of potential as a good competition horse.
Personality: A little rambunctious and easily excited, but always a sweetheart, funny, and happy no matter what. Everyone finds him a joy to be around.
Stable Behaviour: Can get bored in his stall easily so he usually needs something that will keep him busy. He's a little fidgety on the cross-ties, but doesn't make his handler's life hard
People Behaviour: Very fond of people, whether or not they have treats, and likes to get attention in the form of scratches and hugs. He gives hugs back, and sometimes kisses
Riding Behaviour: He's still new to being ridden, so he gets excited easily and loses track of his rider sometimes. He's very strong, but he's also eager to work and to learn
Herd Behaviour: Always the playful dork who goes around trying to find a playmate. He often touches a few nerves, but never gets into any real fights

I thought the story was really touching though, I think Kratos uses that attitude as a shield because he doesn't know how to show his love for Atreus and is probably a little afraid to show it, too

Yes, It was a bit heartbreaking, a bit touching, a bit confusing at first and complicated but in the end it all cleared out and showed how much Kratos actually loved Atreus.
