Build/Conformation: For a Georgian that is mostly Saddlebred by blood, Gemma has still retained much of her Friesian features. She has a large amount of feathering and hair that we keep trimmed since she competes frequently. Her neck is arched and her movement is supple and fluid thanks to her strong legs and athletically built body.

Primary Discipline: Eventing/Cross Country.
Secondary Discipline: Dressage.

Personality: Gemma is rather hard-headed. She is a mare who knows what she wants and when and if you aren't willing to join her on her mission you are dismissed, in her book. Gemma loves to compete and shines in delight when surrounded by all the hustle and bustle of a show scene. She doesn't have perfect form over jumps but she attacks them with such gusto and pizazz that it doesn't really matter too much. She has a bit too much energy for dressage (since she has trouble refining her movements) but has been trained in it since we like to give her the challenge of three-day events.
