Have a great weekend everyone

By the way, does anybody know any good recording programs and how to set them up properly? Please let me know so that I can start record some of my speedies.

Whilst I have never used it myself, Camista Studio seems to be one that most people use that I have seen.

You can get camtasia and BSR Screen Recorder. Either torrent free versions of it (has cracks). Or look for tutorials on youtube for getting free full versions of Camtasia and BSR Screen Recorder. Hope that helps and love ur work!

The top one reminds me so much of a Mcquarrie painting for the first Star Wars film:

I think you will find that the composition and details are freakishly similar... all the same this is spectacular, the tripod design on the bottom is cool as well.

When making a speedpaint, do you use a different approach to the image (color masses, light definition, the whole concept) than a "normal" one?
I mean, is a speedpaint an "unfinished" in wich you have just stopped painting at a certain point?

Just curious...

Sorry for my poor english!

Painter used to be able to let you record your stuff. I don't know if that's still the case though. I think quicktime allows you to do so.

You could always use Ustream, and set a specific date or time youd be on, and you can also record from there too. It may not be the best of quality, but its great live, and can go a long way. Plus, its free

VirtualDub has a capture mode. Might take a little bit of fiddling to get it set up how you'd like, but I do Fullscreen 1280x800 captures at 20-30 FPS with virtually no lag or hiccups at all, capturing straight to DivX with a high bitrate. This is on a crap old computer (AMD 3000+ with 1 gig RAM). I'm pretty positive you could do fullscreen high-res capture that is nearly lossless (camstudio's lossless codec will work with it, btw) without a hitch, considering that your PC is probably lightyears beyond mine

Virtual Dub is open source and thus free. You can also make edits to the video with the same app. Virtual Dub is like the swiss army knife of low-budget video editing. It might not be the best tools ever, but it's usually got that one tool you need when you need it.

Forget camtasia. I think everybody only refers to it because they don't know about free alternatives.
Go for open-source and freeware. CamStudio is free and works well ([link] ) on Ubuntu/Linux there is, among others, recordmydesktop ([link] ).
