"All men dream..... but not equally."

Hey oh! It's none other than Nathan Drake! That guy from Uncharted!

Well, I was SUPPOSEDLY supposed to finish this portrait of Nate by/on 1st November 2011, just when the game is out. Unfortunately, as you can see from the evidence above, just WHY I didn't manage that and I took way way longer than I thought. Nate has always been in my mind to draw, and with Uncharted 3 out, definitely had to pay a little homage to one of my favorite games! Reference picture is obviously the cover of the game, love it!

Face/Details:
As usual, one of the more easier parts of the portrait to do. Took my time here, made sure to get dark areas dark, cos I always tend to make my portraits lighter than the reference, which can get annoying (personally). Kinda interesting to note that when I zoomed in on his face, the picture had a sort of digital painting texture to it at certain areas.

Hair:
Took really long with this, especially since I wasn't free to complete it during my weekdays due to school. Lots of crazy details went into his hair. I really wanted to get all of it correct and almost exact.

Stubble:
Fairly easy to complete. Pointillism YET again.

Scarf:
Okay... seriously, what in the bloody world was this monstrosity? Hah, kidding, but really... this was one of the most difficult things ever that I had to draw in about my entire life. Man oh man, the pattern on it was NUTS, and for some reason, (me being so damn anal), just had to go and follow every single line, pattern, texture on it. Trust me, my eyes kept crossing because I can't see where the pattern starts/end where I was working on. Kudos to the game designers for creating this evil scarf!! (Yes yes, kidding still, Naughty Dog, I love ya)

Background:
Simple background. It was actually the black smoke coming out from the crashed plane, but I decided to go with the desert sky instead. It'll be too dark with the black smoke and if you don't see the full picture (with the plane), it'll look kinda weird anyway.
