Description
I've only recently started graphite portrait drawing again after three years. I didn't have much motivation to do any drawing those few years but I'm glad to report that I've finally gotten back on track with portrait drawing. I actually started up drawing again only because of a local art market that I was doing, which I planned on turning these portraits into stickers to be sold. Hopefully I will continue to draw more in the future to start up my hobby again. As you can tell, the difference from this to my older portraits is that I've moved to a smaller canvas. This time on A6. As I was doing these for an art market, time was of the essence and hence I decided to go small in order to increase the quantity of portraits that I could produce.
Having recently played Assassin's Creed: Unity, Arno Dorian was a no-brainer to do. I've been wanting to do some Assassin's Creed fanart for a LONG time, as I'm a huge fan. My portrait of Ezio was actually about 40% completed before I stopped continuing on him - and that was 3 years ago. (Hopefully I would finish him someday.) Arno was definitely quite hard to finish as I made sure to get every detail down to the T. It was even harder to draw on such a small scale compared to A4 as well and it took me as long to finish. (The irony was not lost on me.)
