I have learned the final resting place of King Ghidorah. The three-headed planet-killing abomination is currently sealed within the ice of Antarctica beneath MONARCH Outpost 32. It seems the blast from Gojira's attack in 2001 didn't kill it after all, but simply blasted it into orbit, before plummeting back to Earth near the shores of Antarctica. Kept hidden under the codename "Monster Zero", MONARCH has been studying the King of Terror for the last 13 years, since it was found in 2006. The base is being kept on High Alert, since many fear that Jonah Alan's ecoterrorist organization may target this creature next. Personally, I doubt this, since even he would not be so fanatical as to awaken this... thing.

Perhaps I was wrong. I hear gunshots from downstairs.

4:23 EST: Absolute catastrophe. They have unleashed the three-headed dragon. King Ghidorah is alive and free once more. Godzilla seems to have anticipated this, as he arrived not ten minutes afterwards. King Ghidorah summarily beat him down, but flew away before finishing him off. It seems to be heading north now, up the eastern coast of South America. He seems to have healed very nicely over the last several years; his presence is causing a massive typhoon to begin churning around his body.

4:50 EST: The UN has granted emergency powers to the Pan-Pacific Defense Corps, allowing them to deploy jaegers against the threat of King Ghidorah. As of this writing, every jaeger on Earth is being deployed to intercept King Ghidorah off the coast of Brazil, before it can reach any farther north. It is expected that Eden Assassin, Chrome Brutus, Hydra Corinthian, Matador Fury, and Brawler Yukon will be the first to intercept the monstrosity, with the others close behind.

7:17 EST: Complete disaster. The five jaegers barely even slowed King Ghidorah down. Hydra Corinthian and Chrome Brutus were immediately blasted apart by gravity beams. Brawler Yukon launched off two mortars - both completely ineffectual - before being smashed with a single blow of the dragon's left tail. Matador Fury attempted to grapple with Ghidorah when it swooped in low, but the three heads simply tore it to pieces in a flurry of screaming metal and sparks. Eden Assassin was plucked clean off the ground, and carried away into the night. Contact with the pilots has been lost. The remaining jaegers have been recalled to their bases. We'll have to trust in the world's titans, because the loss of every jaeger on Earth would simply be too steep a price to pay the next time the breach opens up. King Ghidorah is continuing north, unopposed.
