The cover features a continuation of issue #1142 (Aug 30, 2023) where Absorbing Man - in possession of a sample of kryptonite! - became a match for Superman. And, as tigerfangart said: “Stuff like this, it’s not about whether Superman can win, but how he will do it”… an observation that prompted today’s cover in response!
