Description
ARGHGHHHHHHHHfor the love of dog, this took me for f*cking ever. This was SUPPOSED to just be a "quick" concept sketch to test my brushing skills and to just practice stuff.
Only Photoshop in its infinite wisdom decided that it should crash and completely wipe out everything bar the head. So this is the second time I've done this piece tonight.
anyway, this is just a concept sketch, nothing more. Reference from a really old piece of stock.
pretty pleased with it, even tho I wanted to cry when it crashed. Possibly added way too much detial for a concept, but hey, it only took an evening (and would have only taken HALF an evening.....)

Z, this is nuts! in the best way. the blend of child and doll is spot on with the hair plug thingies and especially the eyes. Sorry about the crash but this is really good.

Oh that is so creepy. You have clearly managed to capture a dark and disturbing atmosphere, the childs clothing and obviously facial features really add to the depth of this piece. Great work for sure.

Oh dear God that's horrible. I love it
It's the juxtaposition of it, the little child with the fucked up red cirlces around it's eyes and the stitches. Not to mention the hair roots that make it look like some sort of weird doll (do you remember those weird fucking things that could walk and shit? Awful toys. D. The hand for me isn't perfect, it looks more old to me, like an old lady's hand on a small child. Which could add to the whole horror of it, but it's just a little too imperfect for me. Overall good stuff

Aww man, that's damn frustrating. Kinda reminds me of whenever I used to try and edit some of my videos.. the project would take 10 minutes to open and freeze/crash horribly 3 minutes into editing it.. >< Awesome work as always though man!

I don't have Photoshop...but I feel a little better knowing I may not be missing much...the program I use is also a major crasher. Anyway...brilliant, per usual...and just a bit disturbing...per usual No worries on the brushing skills

I love the deep crimson red you have. Gives off a very dark vibe. The red around the eyes is most effective, as is the childs hair. You have successfully creeped out my roomate, and it takes a lot to do htat with her. COngrats!

Exactly! I never got to mention that the shading and brushing that you've been doing has been turning out most excellently. Excellent work.
