Description
this uses just one piece of AWESOME stock - the original Doll, taken from my latest find: iStock.com. The cheapest non-free stock site I've found and the quality of the images is stunning... anyway, I digress.I found the image after having an idea about freaky looking dolls, and this pushed the idea out into the open. Taking around 4 hours to complete from start to finish, I've become quite accomplished at painting veins and gore and f*cked up textures from scratch now. I guess I've had enough practice. Strangely I feel really at home in this style, kinda like I'm making it my own, rather than 'borrowing' from others. Thats a good feeling.
ok, so maybe zombie flesh eating dolls are a little f*cked up, but better to get them out here than keep them locked up in my head *twitch*

Excellent. The best art provokes a reaction and boy-howdey did this piece cause me to react. It almost caused me to forcibly evacuate my bowels. Some day I hope to evoke the mood you have in this artwork.

But what I really wanted to say was you've done a fantastic job on this! It really brought me back to when I was about 10, sitting in my lounge scared off the seat because Chucky was trying to kill everyone.
I guess you've kept up the disturbing work since this one, so maybe I'll just have to put you on my wish list.
