I was going to do a big extravagant art project involving the nine muses from Greek mythology, but then reality hit me, and I realized that project seemed a little too ambitious. I was going to do a series of stained glass windows, and each window would depict each muse. But who knows, maybe I might come back to this idea but make it a little less complex.
But anyway, this is Erato who’s the muse of lyrics. I didn't want her to be too similar to Euterpe since she's the muse of music and music and lyrics do go together. So, I thought if I had her singing and playing an instrument instead of just playing an instrument, that would show that she's more focused on the lyrics than just the music.
I’m sorry this isn’t my best drawing, I was kinda in a rush while drawing this, and the other muses because I wanted to get my ideas all drawn out quickly before the art competition that I was going to enter this idea in.
