mixed mane style, her name, her cutie mark, her magic/study talent...
The possibility is just too huge!
Plus, when they enter the school, Starlight and Sunburst spotted Luster FIRST, and then proceeded to greet the others .
Anyway~ I love this idea~ˊw ˋ
我當真覺得她是他們兩位的孩子啊～
她的名字、可愛標誌形狀、鬃毛的造型，對於魔法與學習的天賦
可能性實在太大啦！！！！
再說當他們走進學校時，Starlight和Sunburst兩人是先同時注意到她，然後才和其他人打招呼～
總之我挺愛這個腦洞的啦～ˊw ˋ

In the season 9: first that Starlight Glimmer is weak and almost lose because they use Grogar's power and i know if Grogar's weapon is that so powerful then how powerful is the real Grogar if they call him a Necromanver and Ram with power more than 1.000 army in the MLP:FiM but not only that factor and the second that Starlight is pregnant in the battle against them so she is not in prime condition of course she is hard for fight against them.

Josh Haber confirmed that Luster is Starlight and Sunburst's daughter. Although, Jim Miller doesn't like the idea since he thinks it makes MLP feel too small with not introducing new unrelated characters, and that he felt it was a plot hole with Luster not knowing that Twilight was still friends with the others (but if they only meet once a month, she could still assume that, so it's not really a plot hole), and that he would rather leave it up to the fans to decide. So that's a maybe/up to fans from Jim and a yes from Josh. Still, even a single confirmation is enough.

Oh no, you're definitely not alone in this. My only issue is that with Starlight being the head-mare and Sunburst being the vice head-mare of the School of Friendship, it seems unlikely that their daughter would discard friendship like she did. But then again, not all children follow their parents' ideals, so...

I wouldn't necessarily call it a plot hole. Like I said, children can end up very different from their parents. Case and point, Pinkie and her parents. Zephyr and his.

It could also be overexposure. It's been seen many times that when people are overexposed to something they become numb to it. Maybe with her parents preaching it so much, it started to become an eye-roll to her. Or to live up to their standards as the heads of a school, she could have felt the need to delve into her studies more to live up to what she felt was expected of her. Whatever the case, I'm keeping this as my head-canon until it's stated otherwise.
