I DID IT! I FIXED THE SCANNER! THE COLOR IS ALL MESSED UP AND THE QUALITY LOOKS LIKE CRAP BUT I! GOT! IT! WORKING!!!

So yeah, the Dynamic Duo has now become a Trio. Sorta...

Luke: Ladies and gentlemen, Hiro the Greninja.

Hiro: *waves hand enthusiastically*

me: He's a 'mon of few words...

And before you ask no this isn't my first time drawing Greninja. But he is surprisingly easier to draw than I expected... Except for his hands. Everything but the hands, always the hands.

Hiro: ... *shrug*

I used a number of media on this mostly for experiment's sake. And I'm happy to report that the experiment is a success! A messy success!
Of course I did the usual sketch base to inking to marker that you've seen me do for a long time. But I recently got into a new shading technique using crayons and the results usually look really nice. Plus they make everything shiny! But then there was the matter of making effects look less... Flat(?) And then BAM! Watercolors! They're good for just about any effect! And I can touch it up with the crayons or the markers if need be.
Sorry if I rambled a bit, just pretty excited to have found a new technique that works really well for my style. I'll definitely implement this with future traditional and maybe even digital works!

Also as for the whole" Dynamic duo is now a trio" thing... ;3
