I don't know if I can ask this question, but how do you do the anatomy for the rigarek legs? I'm making an app for the next round, but for the life of me I cannot get the abdomin/hip/leg juncture to work correctly!

I do her legs just like human leg anatomy, just more thick and stocky.Β She has flat feet like a human, but she wears little heeled shoes. So really, there's nothing different about the structure of her legs than a typical human's, it's just proportioned a little different. And they appeared kind of bow legged to me, so I draw her with legs that bend outwards instead of in like normal.

Ah, that makes more sense. I was looking at the race sheet and the few rigareks I could find around, and I was really stuck on that one. Thanks so much! c: that's definitely going to help.

Yeah, I kind of had to make up some of the anatomy, since the original ref sheet was pretty vague. But other people seem to have kind of followed my lead there, so I guess it's correct. XD

Or we all just think Jorga is the raddest Rigarek on the block. xD Yeah, with the clothing on the ref sheet, you really can't see it at all. I've been working on mine for a few days. They're harder to draw than I anticipated!

Yeah, I think they actually didn't intend of the female Rigs having breasts, but I was like "Nah, I'm gonna give them to her because I think these guys are mammals, and she needs something to help her prove she's a woman." Lol!

I finished the first design last night, and after looking at all the other Rigareks (I think Jorga is the only other girl) I was like, damn, there needs to be a sassy, feminine lady up in this. So I spent half of forever trying to figure out how to make a skirt or dress work on a rigarek. I'm not sure how I feel about it...

Lol, my plan is working. Everybody will be playing as blind ol' rigareks now. XD And yeah, there wasn't much reference for the race, so I kind of had to work out my own version of the anatomy and how they move.

lol, well i know they said the rigareks could be thinner and less hunched i they were younger, so I figure Jorga falls into that gategory.

hurr true, if you see the samples for one of the tribes you see a sleek-esk Rig, quiet a nice design.
Also already on it, miru twisted my arm and threw a few ideas at me, used your app as an example :U~ just figuring out race colour and all that then fine line it and polish it up

Males look almost identical, just without breasts of course. XD Each Rigarek has unique patterning, but there's not much differentiation between males and females body-wise. The only real difference in the original species reference is that the boy was drawn with a larger, more square jaw and broader shoulders, but that's just sort of typical masculine whatever features I think.
