I really liked Matthew, he was one of my faves in FE7. I personally never put Matthew and Serra together. It was such deep bond between him and Leila in the story so I don't think he would never forget at least.

Beside it Lord Hector are really really happy if Serra fall in love with Erk and resign from House of Ositia... LOL
