I really like the urban dystopia that you've created. Some of your work is a little abstract for me - but I really like you building work, the texturing, the conservative hatching and the feeling of enclosure you achieve in your single-panel street scenes.
Nice work.

You are welcome. Your work is a refreshing (and original) change from the formulaic anime style that over-saturates DA.

I love your take on detail. I've been reading this Eisner book, and he talks about being detailed and yet impressionistic, showing a building without drawing every single detailed window and still you know it's a building. I think you nailed that.

This looks just like a Melbourne inner city street-great work. I like the colour treatment & perspective work too.

I somewhat like the digital shading in the middle building. It looks like dirt is caking the wall.
I don't know if that's what you were shooting for, but I think it fits.

Dude...this is very a VERY SWEET, piece of eye candy. Personally, I wouldn't change a thing about it. Sometimes I think a lot of artists try to get too realistic when it comes to lighting, colors, etc. Sometimes just some simple colors can take you to a different place all together. This reminds me somewhat of the work of one of my favorite inspirations, Moebius. Very cool stuff, Tim.

hey thanks buddy! moebius is (perhaps obviously sometimes) a big influence on me too, although ive actually seen only a small amount of his work... love that one where all the people live in that big dome in the desert and have to wear those bio suits the whole time...

looks awesome. the only thing I'd do would be to make the lighting more dramatic in between the two buildings. Although, looking again, I don't know if that's really an issue...
i love the tentacles in the trash can.

I was just looking at this again, I love how you can tell he's unlocking the door even from this distance, I think most people would either draw him in the center of the door or entering the building, great job

this is great, love the texture on the wall, and the colours especially ;]
only criticism is a minor one, and personal so feel free to disregard it. i think the picture is stronger without the digital shading, or if you keep it, maybe everything should have some shading? just a suggestion, keep up the goood work tim!
