It's both Cerpin's origin story and a more realistic approach to the whole twin telepathy thing.Why Cerpin looks like Adrian/Azrael but stretched out to unnatural proportions, cerpin wanted to look like adrian but adrian throught it was really Azrael. Twin people problems.

Marvelous! This is a really cool alternative to your earlier idea of him, I think it's even more disturbing. Adrian having such a powerful mind that in its own way, destroyed itself. And Cerpin is just so fucking creepy, man. Like he just progresses into what we know today as Adrian feeds into his existence.

The best thing to me about Cerpin is that there's just something so terrifying about a malevolent, inhuman being that's using a human body/shape. You're so great at communicating his personality and all the disturbing little details of the way he carries himself, which makes him all the more scary. Combined with your particular drawing style, it makes this deeply multidimensional character who I'm even more fond of than I was reading your comic strips a million years ago and I just agh
