this time its Professor Bogdanovich and his journey into his tragic past during WW2,at a German concentration camp.

it was painful to sketch some things, since i had to look up some references, and i couldn't avoid seeing the cruelty of what people can inflict on other people ..

question time!
1. Is this a canon character or oc? I havnt read all the books or seen all the movies.
2. How old was he at the concenrationcamp? He looks well above the age to use magic outside of school.
3. He is a WIZARD! Why is he in the camp to begin with?! Heck even if he dont have his wand there are several times we have seen wizards using magic without the wand so why is he there?

I have answered this on my page, but I will share my answers here for everyone to see.

1.) Benjamin Bogdanovich is an original character.

2.) He was Twenty-Nine years old when he was brought to Dachau, and Thirty Years Old when that picture was drawn.

3.) He was told that if he used his magic at all, then his wife and daughter would be killed. His wand was taken from him, snapped, and put into a fire.

Yet there was a Nazi Guard who was a wizard who used magic, and accidentally blew up a munitions depot. As a result Benjamin was blamed and his wife and daughter were killed and burned in front of him.

He stayed at Dachau until the camp's liberation and then protected the inhabitants from a Massacre at the hands of the Nazis by using a mass Imperius to make them all leave and never come back.

Benjamin saved the lives of the remaining prisoners left at the camp, and he left in the middle of the night the day the Americans came and liberated the camp. He traveled to a Concentration Camp in the North called Graustein, a camp for wizards.

In his rage, and fury. He single-handedly liberated the camp and broke the chains off of 1500 imprisoned Wizards. Giving him the moniker, 'Chain-Breaker.'

After the war ended, he searched high and low for the Wizard responsible for the death of his Wife and Daughter to no avail. He went to Australia and became the Headmaster at 'The Australian Institute of Sorcery' from September 5th, 1950 to June 10th, 1974.

Amazing work on their emotions, also the story seems intriguing, balancing between the Rowling's magic world and the harsh reality. That's some trip to Feeladelphia, man.

That's true, sometimes even no dialogue is needed in the drawing...
