i'm relatively new to this character, since minish cap is the only game i own with him present, and a few years ago i lost the cartridge for that game while i was still in the beginning parts of it. however i found it recently and i've been playing it buttloads. it's the epitome of cute oh god ahahalso to me vaati is a fun dude to draw, with his flowy hair and cape

spindly legs and big feets! He kinda looks like a scrubby gangly teen wearing clothes too big for him.

I gotta agree. I know that Vaati was supposed to be in SSBB, but they canceled him anyways and now he doesn't even have a sticker in the game! :<
Maybe it's because they haven't released a game along the FS or MC timelines? TP isn't exactly along those timelines, although I also heard that he made a cameo on the posters though it's not confirmed.

Mm, that was OoT - before FS, FSA, or MC came out - and really isn't a cameo since he hadn't been created yet. Fans of Vaati like to get carried away sometimes, though.
Honestly, I think he should have been in WW... There could have been some huge EPIC wind fight in that.
Maybe he'll return in Skyward Swords - though if it'd be forced, I don't think I'd enjoy it too much.
