since the snap tail doodle i've been wanting to put a bit more effort into the normal snaps, so here's some with actual guts and bones instead of the usual stylized stuff!
1. Poison :: CottontailWarren
- incredibly toxic slime! watch out!
- flambouyant and flashy, tends to make their green highlights the center of attention
- pleasantly fragrant sweet smell (but be careful!)
2. Predator :: KittyCannon
- fearless and can be a bit wily at times
- good companion, but never a "pet"; can't stay still!
- when not lounging around, can be pretty aggressive

I'm curious; do gastrosnaps have skulls? Or are the only bones they have the neck/spine/tail and.. er, if I'm looking at the skeleton diagram correctly, occasional/optional/sometimes ribs too?

it's very rare that they have skulls! in the right place (head), anyway. usually it's just the random spine-and-guts assortment (with sometimes ribs, depends on the snap/artist)!

oh absolutely you may draw them the old way! it's just a stylization, you may draw them however you want, there are even lots of ways besides these two!

Oh man, I love this new and improved way of drawing their guts!
I really like the little green tentacle/slime horn/cerrata things on Poison's face! And Oredator is one of my favorite color schemes. <3
