I like the reflection of the sky and the train station in the water. I don't know the story ... I'm not good at contemplation. xD But I wouldn't mind waiting in a place as beautiful as this. ^^

~From POV of the girl~
I waited.
I'm always waiting.
I stand beneath the sign, hoping that maybe one day it'll happen.
Someone will notice me.
The sky is clear today, and cherry blossoms are in season.
Maybe someone will hand me a petal.
Another train pulls in to the station, and another crowd gets off. People stream like rivers around each other, looking down at phones or on calls or staring ahead with blank eyes.
And I'm always here.
Alone in the crowd.
It feels like I'm in the middle of a glass ocean, never able to cross it, never able to baptize myself in.
"Hey, are you alright?"
I snap back to focus. Did someone just talk to me?
I look up, and see a dark-haired boy looking down at me, a school bag slung over his shoulder.
"What?"
"I said, are you alright? You look lonely."
I am.
"I'm...."
I pick at my nails and sweep my long hair behind my ear. He sees.
He reaches up and plucks a small cluster of cherry blossoms from a branch. He moves a strand of my hair and balances the flowers on my ear.
"There. Now you can cheer up." He smiles at me, then walks into the train car and disappears.
I touch the petals softly with my fingers. I smile.
Maybe I'm not as alone as I thought.
