I haven't done many (well, about 40 of them) but never something like this.
I like this one. It was the right "ingredients".Β
I will do it as an endlessly looping GIF - trying to sustain the mood of your original. The rain will fall, the city lights will wink on and off, and the streetlight will flicker - momentarily lighting up her pink umbrella (that'll be my interpretive touch).
I might include a panning shot following her into frame. BUT ... that's doubling the complexity right there!!
A few things - if I may:Β
1) The original is already a very large file. Once I duplicate it and build it into a sequence the animation will run to maybe 16~20 files each the same size as the original. Which gets really big, even as .jpg files. Downloading times for a GIF need to be considered - for your/my viewers.
SO: May I have your agreement to reduce the scale (thus file-size) - either by cropping the main image (keeping all the best details, of course!), or by reducing the image ('halving' it to 2400 x 1200), or a combination of the two.Β
Also - if you have it, any original file that ONLY shows the rain. If not well that's okay. I've got enough here to work with. Can duplicate & re-patch it into a usable overlay.

The orange lights are so cool! I like them along with the stars and clouds in the sky. I have to imagine that this would be a great view during the rainy weather. Nice job!
