Your MegaRoll design is totally awesome! I like how you made the green ribbon the part of the helmet. Another interesting detail is anything what's behind the hair shown. You must make a comic out of it!

Wow... this is actually the best combat-modified Roll design I've ever seen.
Most of them just look like a palette swap of Megaman, this one actually looks like it's based on Roll's design. Β Well played, sir.
This seriously needs to be in the comic at some point. Β I don't know if Archie/Capcom/Whoever's in charge will actually allow Ian to make Roll a badass, but there's gotta be some way. Β Perhaps it could be set in an alternate timeline, like you proposed in an earlier sketch. Β If Megaman ever gets an equivalent to "Sonic Universe" (i.e. 4-issue story arcs focused on other characters, sometimes set in alternate universes), this seriously deserves its own story arc for sure.
Maybe she could use Tango as armor.

I have a comic idea: MegaRoll forms a team (consisting of herself, Tails, Pikachu (a talking one), Coco Bandicoot, Luigi, Princess Daisy, Captain Qwark and, later in the comics, Dr. Neo Cortex) have various tasks/jobs and adventures. loosely based on this, but with mostly different telling of events: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sizangβ¦

Sadly, no. The only work I do is at my house. that includes sweeping, dishes, and other stuff around the house.

well, think of it this way. Would you pay someone who works at a grocery store in anything but money? The answer is no. They need that money to live, DA points don't put food on the table. An artist needs/deserves to be paid for their efforts, right?

yes sir. Issues 19-23, 25, and 28 were my pencils in megaman. Also did some short circuits in that. and I redesigned the freedom fighters for sonic. And did some covers for that too. I've done quite a bit for Archie over the year.

I am a total sucker for Combat Roll, and as it stands this design is pretty good.Β Two things, though:
1. She's got 3-5 prominent colors on her chassis overall.Β Mega Man only had the two.Β How would she change palettes when she gets a weapon?
2. Something about the helmet kind of bothers me.Β It could be the strange-looking oversized metal bow, it could be the fact that it has yellow on it and blends in with her hair...but something about it doesn't "feel right" to meβand I know that's the most generic thing ever to say about a piece of art but it's the best way I can think to phrase it.Β Maybe if it shared the same color scheme as her armor, it wouldn't bother me as much.

I remember, I drew a version of this idea YEARS ago. Even called it the same. (MegaRoll) Didn't look as cool as this, but its good to know someone else had the same idea.
