Made last month or so for the "Represenative of my soul!" contest on Megaten. (basically a "draw your character" contest)I love being a gunner.
Copics and gel ink. Background done on photoshop.

I have seen this one on your facebook page and I really like it! As always I love the way you combine digital with traditional. The hair is really good and have that lovely shiny shine like in a schampoo-commercial! (that's a compliment lol)
Anatomy is good here also. Her hips/legs are a little big but I wouldn't call that a anatomy-mistake since those things are more about personal style than anatomy.

If there was something I would point out would be... that "pew" thing doesn't fit in, I would remove it imo. Or place it somewhere else on the picture. But other than that, I really like this one :3

I'm glad this one actually came out so well.
The clothes are from the online game I've been playing. Megaten online. They have a lot of great outfits for our characters that I find inspiring and fun to draw. I still like making my own clothes more though.
(DA seems to have a bug where I can't accept your crit so it can show up on the picture... ya know about this?)

Oh wow! This turned out very well (O_o) I have a lot of line art I need to color but I can never seem to get around to it (^_^') I need to get my own scanner too cause I haven't been able to post a lot of my pics; the ones I DID manage to post were thanks to a friend letting me use their scanner (T_T)

I know how that can be. Right now my problem is that my sketchbook's paper doesn't fit my scanner! It's so frustrating...I should of just went for a normal sketchbook. ><;

Whoa girl, your Copic skills amaze me. I wish I could learn from you. ;-; What colors do you use for skin tones? I have such a hard time with overlapping color and such.

For fair skin I always use the base of E000. I darken places with E00. And then for last bits of shading I choose between E21, V000, and RV10(called "Pale Health" but I think makes the characters look a lot more lively.) I use this tutorial for a basic understanding on when and how I want to overlay the colors: [link]

yeah, I wanted her tippy toe-ing (I dunno why), but then remembered that's not the most comfortable thing to do in cowboy boots with spurs on. Tried showing off her footing with some shading, but I was afraid of ruining the picture. No undo button with markers.
