I root for the wyvern. If he swings his tail quick enough he can sweep the bitch along with half the tower. Problem solved.

While I have never played MtG I have always loved the art and this is no exception. Great piece

Amazing drawing. I'll not even try to criticize the art technique. However, let me give 2 cents about archery please.

First, that arrow should be lined with the right arm forearm, and not the left arm forearm as seen. This pose she is is highly uncomfortable and very hard to maintain, stressing the archer faster and making it a slow shot.

Second, the bow is not ready to shoot since the bowstring is not storing enough tensile energy. The arrow will most likely fall down after one or two meters.

Third, the quiver is a very iconic thing in medieval fantasy, but it's highly not used in any way like we imagine. The arrows remain free inside and would most likely fall out if the archer would move or leap or whatever, and they had to do so much! Usually, quivers would stay fully stacked and carried in the other hand like the bow. Somewhere within the friendly army, they would lean it against any surface and pick a bunch of arrows with the free hand. Last, those arrows would simply be dropped on the ground where the archer were needed to shoot. Some high experienced archers would hold up to three arrows on his hand and shoot them one after the other on a high speed shooting rate before ducking and "recharging the hand".

I hope to have helped out with future drawings.

I have never heard the concept of the quiver, but that makes sense! Random commenter here, but your post was informative enough I wanted to say something. :} Thank you!
