The second you see this drawing your hit with a warm glow. I love that so much, it's vary homey in a way. Maybe cut back on the snow a little next time, because they take away from the warm glow a little, but otherwise the affect is not lost at all. The girl on the left really draws us into the peace with her warm scarf and yellowish clothes. Shows a lot of character when put next to the more dark slightly sad looking girl. And both of their blue eyes only helps this.
Sadly though there is one really problem with this drawing to me, and that's the eyes. This may just be me, but it seems like the eyes are just too big for the body and style. Maybe a little bigger nose would help this.
Your other drawings don't seem to have this problem too bad, so maybe this is just a one time problem.
Still through, try this warm shading style more often. Maybe in a children's bedroom or something.

Hey, I saw your post ProjectComment and wanted to comment on it.
So first, let me just say that your style is outrageously adorable. I have a thing for Chibi-esque styles like this where the character has a slightly bigger head than the body and the big beady eyes- it’s just plain cute. As for the piece itself, you have definitely improved a lot from your original. From the coloring to shading, I can tell you have gotten better in your color theory and digital technique.
If I can point out anything that can be improved upon, I’d say maybe maybe focus on making the final piece cleaner because this feels more like a sketch in a way. There’s certain areas of the line art and shading that look a little too rough and bold like they were place in a general way to plan for a more refine final draw. One example is the skirt on the character to the right. The lines there are a little sketchy and could hold some more weight to it and I feel as though the shading is a bit unrefined with how it crosses certain folds in the skirt that doesn’t make sense.
Other than trying to make this a little cleaner next time, I think this a great redraw that shows off a lot of improvement. It’s cute too!!!
