Do you often wonder about it too?When you think of it, society has really gone through a lot. Life just seems to expect more and more from us as each days passes by. It just seems to be more distorted and complicated at the same time. Are we still human enough to become a civilization?
Worked on this for a couple of hours. I really had no idea of what to work with other than the buildings on this piece. Thought and tried a lot of things and it ended up like this. I personally took the photos when I was in Xiamen, China. Used some custom brushes I made a couple of months back and some post editing using Adobe Photoshop.

I like. There's a lot going on, but it's not too chaotic. The colors are the shades I'd associate with sickness and smoke - the not-so pretty colors that give the image a more ominious, unpleasant look. Not that the image itself is bad, but the meaning it conveys is not of a happy civilization.

ya know, I've been looking for some inspiration for a while, and I think I just found it!
The way it all blends together, but theres alot of contrast at the same time. And its got a really nice desolate feel.

This one looks oriental to me, i think because of the colors, and the reminiscence of the japanese style rising sun rays. The only thing i dont like is how the two rays right in the center are not the same width as the rest. And, maybe if you rotated the image in the background so that the horizon was horizontal it would make it a little better.

I really like how polished this piece is. I agree with earlier comments that said it looks like it could be an ad - it's very professional looking. I really like the white stripes that lead your eye throughout the picture and back to your central message. Awesome job!

Very nice. i really like the concept and again, I like the colors chosen for this piece. They suit it very well and portray how you feel about it.
Im curious though, any reason you chose the double headed eagle? I know it is Russian, but I also know that China is close to Russia (politically)

its just a logo that would add more flavor to the design but it doesn't stand much about russia and china in relation to each other
