Yes it is a WW2 model. I could touch it and take this photo, because it was easy to get the permission to touch things in this "private museum" (i don't know how to call this museum) . So, You know it isn't mine. This grenade was found somewhere in the ruins of old german synthetic petrol factory.

Oh wow. I want to find one of these just lying around...

I have a modern version of this (The Soviet F1 grenade) also, and I love it. You can see it in my gallery!
