I'm a sucker for layers. The concept of hidden images being brought forward interests me. It's a beautiful find and very well framed.

Interesting piece. Seems to make a statement about how what lies beneath surface beauty is often times nothing at all. Perhaps not your intention but that's what i take from it.

This was intended to be a open statement about masks, covers, the surface and what's underneath.

Thanks.

lovely as always...what I like the most about your photography is how you notice things that everyone can see walking down the street or in their house in a different way.. you take these images and give them a different kind of attention.. almost making insignificant things important...

Octavus In reply to Jell-E [2005-05-21 23:05:52 +0000 UTC]

Thank you.

I don't believe in predefined beauty.
I hope I can make insignificant things important in my photographs, not almost

Good spotting, something that most of us would pass by without noticing. Good framing.

I love it - it's a wonderful image of the old "mask" concept that people will try so hard to achive but almost never realy succeed.
You did.

Ooooh! Very cool! At first I thought this was a photo-manip till I looked closer. This is awsome! It looks like 2 different pictures. I can't really figure it out... Nice job!

There is no manip here by me (I don't do manips).
This is a photo of a poster wall.

I wouldn't have thought that something as basic as ripped paper could make such a unique and beatiful piece of artwork. It's almost nostalgic in a way, and I don't often feel that from artwork. Very nice work, as always!
