Description
Collaboration withThat is the second installment of RagnarΓΆk series.
Check the first Ragnarok picture:
Ragnarok -"Doom of the Gods"- means the end of the cosmos in Norse mythology.
When the world is plunged into the darkness, roosters shall call the Gods for the war.
Garm, the Hell Hound shall bark to unleash the cruel beasts- Fenrir and Loki, to carry the grudge against Gods.
Unleashed Fenrir with clinging and raising anger shall kill one of Greatest Gods- Odin, who will stand on the battle at world's End (...)
I represented Odin without armor, which would show human's weakness. He was killed by Fenrir.
So, I did concept and lineart and talented Alector Fencer did great job with coloring. I am SO happy of outcome.
I hope doing more Ragnarok Series!
Original A3 framed artwork will be on sale in Eurofurence- anyone who is going, dont miss chance getting special piece. Same with Ragnarok I collab done by me and *khaosdog will be for sale on auction in EF!
And I'll make huge prints of it... on A2 metal paper limited edition posters.. just soon! Prints will be high quality and so detailed.. almost like original art
LINEART- A3 Smooth Bristol- 8 hours linearting
COLORING- A3 finest quality bristol and watercolor, acrylic and colored pencils (several days)
Art (c) by PearlEden and AlectorFencer
PS:
Sleipnir. I have heard many times how people are complaining about it- the interpretation for sleipnir is free. It absolutely doesnt have having 8 legs- some people draw just 4, 6 and there are some who drew 12.

Epic depiction of the fall of Odin. You've done a fantastic job drawing all of those muscles on Slepnir too! O.O it must've been tough trying to figure out how to make all that leg anatomy look convincing.

Fantastic! I have a print of Ragnarok I, I don't suppose there's a snowball's chance in hell, many years later, I could get a print of this as well?

Hopefully yes! I want to release full ragnarok series illustrations (there will be about seven) but I haven't got to work on third
I'd like to do a set of prints, because it wouldn't work for me well selling Odin alone since not many people like a human character and would want to buy so it wouldnt be a worthy investment for me XD
Also, what kind of Ragnarok print do you have? From DA, from me (A2 limited edition) or Khaosdog?

Yay! A full set on the wall will look fantastic. The print I have isn't from dA, I believe it's an A2 from you, but I'd have to go home and look. Also glad to hear there will be more, the way these have turned out is unlike anything else I've seen, and they're really captivating.

Is it strange that I am a fan of Sleipnir? I absolutely love him. Although the only other interpretations I've seen of him had 6 legs. Those were both from Final Fantasy though... Hehe.

saw the sleipner thing further down on the comment, I agree on that artists can interpretate how they want.
Originally tought, I have never heard of anything more or less than 8 legs.
Did you know that the 8 legs on Sleipner made him very endurable (or what it's called). Cause He ran with four legs and when theese legs got tired he could run with the other four and rest the other legs
