it's PS. I lowered the saturation on the original photo to almost bw and then added a texture which I photographed from an old book. I messed around with the curves some and came up with this. I'm happy you like it.

Doing things in PS can be such a creative process for me. It's like sitting down with analog art supplies and just messing around.
